Berlinda Hyne

Berlinda Hyne has 12 years experience in the field of human resource management with the vast majority of this time being spent with Coca-Cola Amatil. Berlinda worked in a number of functions across the business including Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing and Operations, holding both National and State Human Resource Manager positions.

 

Prior to working at Coca-Cola Amatil, Berlinda held occupational health safety and human resources positions with the Queensland Department of Main Roads and within the meat processing industry. This broad range of experience across industries has contributed to Berlinda's strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.

More recently Berlinda has worked as a consultant to businesses providing a range of human resources services, including leadership development and management coaching. Berlinda is passionate about coaching leaders in getting the best out of themselves and their people. Berlinda also has extensive experience in performance management, human resource strategy, recruitment and change management.

Berlinda holds a Bachelor of Applied Science with a major in Occupational Health and Safety, and a Graduate Diploma of Human Resource Management.

Gavin Hulcombe

Gavin Hulcombe

Gavin is the National Chairman of Australia's largest property valuation organisation, Herron Todd White, with over 50 offices located throughout Australia and the Middle East. Gavin holds a postgraduate qualification from the University of Queensland, is a Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) and Associate of the Australian Property Institute (AAPI). Gavin has worked as a property valuer within Government and private practice where he has concentrated on all forms of specialised residential property valuation, including large high rise projects, land subdivisions and prestige housing. Gavin has an interest in high performance work cultures with strong moral values and is proud of the team's successes at Herron Todd White which include winning the "BRW Client choice award - Best specialist firm" as well as number property industry related awards.

In addition to his Board role with Herron Todd White, Gavin sits on a number of other boards and advisory committees both within the not-for-profit and commercial environments. Gavin is married with three young children.

Terry O'Hanlon-Rose

Terry O'Hanlon-Rose

With a career spanning over 30 years, encompassing 16 years in educational leadership positions, Terry is the CEO/Principal of the Australian Technical College - North Brisbane reflecting his contribution to Academia and Vocational Education and Training (VET). His versatility as an educator is highly respected and he is widely known for his determination, drive and commitment to provide the best outcomes for students. His standards of excellence are evident through many achievements such as a De Bono Award for Innovation, Australasian IT & T Award for Excellence and Australian National Literacy and Numeracy Award.

Admitted as a Fellow of the Australian College of Educators in 2008, Terry is currently a Doctoral Candidate researching the outcomes of varying models of VET provision through employment-based apprenticeship programs. He sat on the Qld VET Quality Steering Committee (2005 - 06) and as former President, Vice President and Treasurer of the Qld Association of Mathematics Teachers as well as past Vice President and Treasurer of the Qld Association of Secondary Principals Association, he has been at the forefront of leading change in education and training such as the Millennium taskforce Y2K and Leading Schools.

Terry is a Member of the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development and currently holds the position of Treasurer of Australian Technical Colleges Association, represents the College in organisations such as Australian Council Private Education & Training, Business Educators Association Queensland, Commerce Qld Education Policy Committee, Flexible Learning Action Group (FLAG), Qld's VET E-Learning Strategy Reference Group and has published work in VOCAL and presented papers for AVETRA, VETNetwork, QSA and ACPET. He has partnered with Janet Bray (Exec Director - US Association for Career & Technical Education) at the 2009 BIG SKILLS Conference presenting papers on Youth Transitions to Work.

As a member of the 2008 Australian VET Delegation which travelled to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the Philippines, as part of the Qld VET Export Delegation to explore international opportunities in the VET sector, he has pursued a broad range of discussions with International representatives to progress the relationship with Australian Training Organisations.

Rob Quinn

Rob Quinn

CEO and Co-founder of Entrepreneurs Success Programme in Australia. This business, launched in 2003, provided curriculum based business education courses focusing on the business development and leadership of medium sized Australian enterprises.

 

In 2008, Rob expanded his interests in working with individuals and teams to become significantly better at what they do by launching "Creating Leaders", a business to make great differences to how individuals within corporates perform.

In 2002 Rob completed a Sloan Masters Fellowship at the London Business School. This 12 month programme focused on directing businesses within transitional periods. As part of his studies Rob focused on electives and project work from London Business School's School of Entrepreneurialism.

For much of the previous 20 years, Rob was a career corporate banker, latterly the Head of Banking for Macquarie Bank in Queensland. As a result, he has a broad range of financing and leadership skills applicable to medium sized corporates in the Queensland sector.

Outside of work Rob is married to Alison and they have a 5½ year old daughter and 2 year old son. He lives in New Farm and is passionate about making every moment in life count which includes travel, health, entertaining, family and a quest for thirst to understand what makes people tick.

Rob is increasingly becoming good at working 4 days per week and likes to dapple in the odd triathlon to keep him focused on being fit.

Patricia Stewart

Pat Stewart

Pat is a specialist in leadership development, having run group development programs and leadership programs across a range of industries in both the UK and Australia. Pat has also conducted numerous one-to-one individual coaching for a range of senior leaders.

 

Pat has 15 years experience designing and delivering learning programs, specifically in strategic workshops, leadership and management development programs, manager as coach programs, and customer service training to maximise business performance at all levels.

Pat has previously worked in a number of senior management positions in large companies in the UK. Since moving to Australia 9 years ago Pat has partnered with many clients including, MBF, QBE Coca Cola Amatil, News Ltd, Boral, Carat, FXA, Energex and Sita.

Pat's experience in operational management, combined with an MBA and a range of accreditations in the Human Resources field, gives her a strong understanding of the complexity of corporate organisations enabling her to bring theories and business models to life in a practical and exciting way.

Paulien Barkmeyer

Paulien Barkmeyer is an accomplished facilitator of learning and development for individuals and organizations. Paulien offers clients a broad range of skills and experience having worked in a number of industries and organizations. She has experience in diverse industry sectors locally and internationally and works in both the public and private sector.

 

Paulien facilitates personal growth and inspires positive change through providing practical and instructional strategies that assist individuals and groups to enhance their effectiveness in influencing others.

Paulien strives to make a positive contribution to the world and others by building on and further developing their personal and professional goals.

Paulien is a highly acclaimed trainer, facilitator and coach and is recognized for her ability to affect major behavioural change in the people and groups whom she works with. She is committed to assisting individuals to become their true and magnificent selves.

With a reputation for dynamism and high energy, and an ability to integrate theory with pragmatic and practical solutions, Paulien focuses on creating stimulating yet challenging learning environments that maximize both organizational and personal outcomes.
